Code for viewing HTML Source

I've recorded a macro in Word 97 where I saved a document as an .htm doc
then clicked on View/HTML Source.

This last action records as:
Application.Run MacroName:="HTMLViewSource"

However, when I run the macro I get the error message "unable to view HTML
source for a non-HTML document" even though my document is definitely an
HTML document (I tried saving it as .html instead but it made no
difference).

If anyone can help I'd be very grateful.
