Code needed

I am writing a dictionary in 2 columns. I want the header to have:
<first word on page> - <last word on page>.

How can I automate the process so each page will automatically display the
first and last words defined (not the ACTUAL first and last words [part of
the definition] on the page)? The defined words are in TNR 8 pt. bold
whereas the remainder of the text is 6 point with inconsistent use of bold
and font face.
