Code Window Won't Open

Rich K

Have been running Access 2002 sp3 on windows xp sp2 for quite some time.

During the course of routine yesterday Code Window no longer opens. When I
attempt to open the code window Access churns and uses all my system
resources until I shut it down from the task manager. It does this from .mdb
files and .adp files which work on alternate machines.

I have tried a repair and a reinstall of Office XP with no success. Any
thoughts on what else I might need to reinstall or repair?

Thanks.

I still have not resolved this issue. However, I am able to log in under a
different username and from there I can open the code window. I still want
to be able to get to the code window from this user account.

Any assistance would be welcomed.

Consider this closed. I merely had to recreate my profile on the development
computer.

Now isn't that interesting.

Thanks for posting your solution.
