Collaboration menu missing

Hi,

I have a user that has installed MS Office Project Pro 2003 but the
Collaborate menu is missing for some reason. Enterprise features under the
Tools menu are also missing e.g. Build Team, Enteprise Options.

Does anyone have any ideas about what would cause this behavior?

Thanks,

Neil

Are you certain the user installed Microsoft Project Professional 2003?
This sounds like he/she installed Microsoft Project STANDARD 2003 instead,
which lacks enterprise features. Let us know.

Dale,

Yes, quite sure.

His Help > About screen reads Microsoft Office Project Professional 2003
(11.2.2005.1801.15) SP2.

Thanks,

Neil

Have you tried uninstalling and then reinstalling Microsoft Project
Professional? I have certainly never seen this behavior, and I believe it
would be simpler to uninstall and then reinstall. Otherwise, the only other
options is to manually create each of the missing menus and menu items. Let
us know.

Dale,

I think we found a solution.

The user could see the enterprise options through Tools > Customize >
Toolbars dialog box. So, we had the user restore the Built-in Menu for
Collaborate (drag and drop on the menu bar). Then, we had the user Reset the
Tools menu from the Rearrange dialog box. So far so good.

If we have any further issues, we'll uninstall and reinstall as you've
suggested.

Thanks again,

Neil
