collate function does not work in Word 2007

The collate function when printing numerous copies of a document does not
work when it is selected. How can I fix this as sorting documents by hand is
not only annoying but too too time consuming?

That problem does not occur usually--having used Word 2007 with a variety of
different printers in Windows Vista and Windows XP, I haven't encountered
it. It might be related to your printer driver. What printer are you using?

It might also be a problem that Word 2007 has with that particular printer,
and it might be that Microsoft has a hotfix available.

Do other applications collate correctly when you print? If so, a work-around
might be to save the file as a .pdf, and then print the multiple copies from
Adobe Acrobat Reader.
