Collecting data from customers

giorgio

I would gather information from customers.
I think Infopath may be the way to go, to get this information into a
database (Access and/or Excell) and then analize them.

1) Can I send this form to every customers I have, and allow them to fill it
out and send it back to me, under the condition that they do not have
Infopath.

2) How can I visualize the responses in the excell data, is there an
automated way to do it.

Please advice, after a four days I am practicing with InfoPath I have doubts
about beeing the rigth coice for my purpose.

Thanks,

Hello,

You can use InfoPath Forms Services:

http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/formsserver/FX100490391033.aspx?ofcresset=1

to allow your customers to submit their form via the web. You would need
to have this installed and available externally (i.e. on the Internet). This
is the only way you could fill out an InfoPath form without having InfoPath
installed on your desktop.

You can get the submitted information into a database (such as Access) and
then use Excel to analyse.

Gavin.
