collecting data using e-mail messages in Windows-Apple configurati

I am working at a school district. So most teachers use Apple computers
however data coordinators and administrators use Windows machines. Now I am
working with an ACCESS DB and I need to collect data using e-mail messages
from teachers (apple computers) to me (windows computer). Unfortunately I
noticed this process works well for Windows<->Windows but does not work for
Windows<->Apples!
Do we have chance to set up e-mail collection in this situation?
