color blind customising

I work with someone who is marginally color-blind, and cannot distinguish
between dark-blue and black. As we are constantly using the auto-filter it
is very frustrating for him not to be able to tell which column has a filter
on or off.

Is there any way of changing the color of the little blue triangle (when
filter on) to say a red triangle.

Any help much appreciated

PS We're using excel 2003

This is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you very much.

Is there any way I could get this macro to apply globally to any sheet
opened something like putting it in personal.xls?

The event code has to go on the sheet with the AutoFilter. It runs the
code when the sheet calculates.
