Color change for comment indicators

CarolM

I know that at one time I changed the color of comment indicators in
Excel--but can't find the instructions now. A friend needs a color other
than green. Thanks for any assistance that you can give.

Comment indicators are red.

Perhaps you are referring to error-checking indicators which are green.

Comment indicators cannot and never could be changed without code

You can overlay Comment indicators with triangles created using the drawing
toolbar.

See Debra Dalgleish's site for more info.

Don't know if code is available for changing the error-checking indicators.

"Carol,

I don't think that Excel provides a way to change the color of comment
indicators, but I thought they were red.

But have a look here for a work around

Error checking indicators are green, could it be those instead? If so tools,
options, error checking and change it from there

You don't need code for changing error checking indicators.
tools>options>error checking and choose the colour you want
