Color change with clicking but not when using slide number

I have a Slide Show operating kind of like a Jeopardy game board. If I
have, for example

Google Facts

100
200
300
400
500

And if I click on 100 it goes to the question. When it comes back to
home slide the color for 100 is faded.

But if I enter the number 4, for example, and go to the 400 point
question and come
back to the main screen the 400 is still yellow and NOT faded.

Is there a way to get the use of the slide number/enter combo to change
the
color like the clicking does?

The short answer is no.

The color changes because there is a color set for a followed hyperlink.
The slide-number/enter method does not follow a hyperlink. Clicking on a
hyperlink is what follows the hyperlink.

There is a possibility that you could use VBA to trap events in some way
that allows you to change the color of text after a slide-number/enter,
but I am not sure it is possible, and I am sure that it would be much
more trouble than it is worth.

Finally, you might want to search the Web for pre-existing Jeopardy
games, rather than starting from scratch. I just posted one on my site
(under "Examples From Real People") that someone sent me that uses VBA to
keep score, but there are many others out there as well.

Thanks David,

I had a sneaking suspicion that I was going to get a NO.
And you are right, It would take a bit of work to actually
get something that might work.

Ummm...keeps score...I will have to definitely check that out.

Thanks again,
George
