Color Code Comments without changing Author

I am making a menu that has a list of standard comments to chose from.

I want each comment to have it's own color, so the macro changes the Author
to achieve this - which works fine.

Now I need to distribute it to various people to use, and want to have the
color coding standardized - so that each comment appears as the same color
from document to document (and user to user).

Is there a way of assigning the color of a comment?

Sorry, you can't do that. Even changing Authors on a single machine does not
guarantee consistent colouring from one edit session to the next - all it
guarantees is that comments from each of the first eight Authors will have a
different colour for each author (the colours repeat after eight different
authors).
