Color Gantt Bars Dependent Upon Resource

I thought I posted this last week, but I cannot find an answer in the chat room. I am using MS Project 98 and I would like to assign gantt bar colors to each resource. Is it possible to do so in 98? or would I need to upgrade to 2000?

Hello Melissa,
As there are no formulas in MS Project 98, you can't do set this as an
automatic feature without a VBA procedure.
If you are not found of VBA, you can use a simple way (not automatic) :
- Activate the Using Resource... filter for a resource
- Select all tasks
- Format / Bar...
- Select a color for that resource...
- Activate the Using Resource... filter for an other resource ...
