Color is grayed after installing office Sp3

Hello,

We had office 2003 with sp2 prior to upgrading to sp3. We can custom
software that would print to excel and all the coloring would show fine, with
cell properly formatted with specific color. After upgrading to Sp3 the
formatting of color is gone. Now all we see is gray color with no color at
all. Any ideas?
