Hi James,
If you have an onscreen copy of the logo (possibly
by scanning the stationery) you can use one of a
a number of free tools that will allow you to determine
what the screen color of part of an item is and
then use that value in Word's custom color selector
to match it. You'll find a number of the color tools
available from
http://grafxfreeware.homestead.com/
Printed colors and screen colors do not always match,
which may be due to a number of factors including the
settings in the printer and the color model the printer
uses vs what is on the screen, but also the resolution.
The screen display can also be set to differing numbers
of colors possible in Windows and that can also affect things.
If this logo was designed to be used on the web, on paper
and in on screen applications, hopefully the designer took
into account the limitations and personalities of the various
media types and chose a color scheme or usage model that
will be useable in each.

We recently had new graphics for our company logo. In
trying to get letters and other documents to printout
from Word (2002), I cannot seem to get the colors to
match company stationary. Also, when I try using
different colors in Word to get a closer match they print
out exactly the same. We use a couple of HP 4600DN
printers. How can I make Word print colors exactly
matching our company letterhead? >>
