Color of Highlighted/Selected messages in Outlook 2003

The blue color is too dark it is difficult to see the attachment icon (clip)
when the message is selected.
Is there any way to change the color. I tried adjusting my monitior colors
but it didn't help.

Office Helper

It actually pulls the color from the Windows settings. Right click on
Desktop and choose Properties. Go to the Appearance tab and change the color
for the Selected Item. If you have XP, will have to hit Advanced button.
