Color options for Visio 2007 custom shapes.

I am creating custom shapes in visio 2007 but when it comes to addding colors
to those shapes I don't find alot of imformation on that. For instance if I
wanted the shapes to have a chrome look to them or just more vibrant colors
to them would I just need to save them as a specified file type and import
them into a Adobe program to spice them up.
Oh yes and where do I find shapes for visio like third party providers any
names or links to companies would be great.

Format -> Line
Format -> Fill
