Color Palette Changes in Different Versions of Excel

I created a document in 2007 version that uses colors as a key. When this
document is opened and saved in 2003 versions of Excel, the colors are
completely different and it is really messing up my key. How can I get the
colors to remain the same if the document is traveling between 2003 and 2007
versions of Excel?
