Color Palettes in Excel 2004

Where does Excel 2004 store color palettes? I am trying to create a
number of charts in different spreadsheets, and have them use
consistent colors throughout (I will be putting these charts in a
poster I am to present in about a month, showing different properties
of the same set of compounds, and I need the colors to be
consistent). However, when I open different files I have created in
which I created these charts, the palette of colors I can easily
choose from is different. Is there some way I can obtain a consistent
palette of colors? It should be noted that some of these spreadsheets
were originally created on other computers (usually PCs, using Excel
2003).

TIA

Hi Dave -

I'm not an expert on Excel's use of color, but one feature that may help you
out is in Excel> Preferences - Color. There's a drop-down there that lets
you import a color palette from one workbook to another.

Thanks. I found that shortly after I sent the message. It would sure
be nice to have a way to have the same color palette for all
worksheets, though.
