Color problem

I am using Office 2007 and downloaded a blue design template to use as a
background. It shows up as blue when I download it but as soon as I start to
use it in my presentation it becomes grayscale and I cannot make it blue.
I've made sure that I've got "Color" on in the slide master and not
"Grayscale" and I've tried changing the colors in the slide master, but this
changes only the text and not the background. What is happening here and how
can I leave it blue? It is called Contemporary Blue Design Template and I
downloaded it at

It seems to work fine here. What do you mena by "as soon as I start to use
it in my presentation..."? What are you doing? How are you using it?
