About 2 weeks ago I started getting a black screen when I clicked a link
using Outlook to go to any other program - MS or not (Excel, Explorer, Word,
Adobe, etc.). The screen will flash black and then the program starts using
the 8-bit color property. I have to then minimize the program, right click on
the desktop screen and change the properties back to 32. I thought it was the
video card going bad so I replace it and the problem still exists. When I go
into the programs without clicking on an attachment in an e-mail, they are
fine. It sounds like an Outlook file may be corrupt. Does anyone have any
idea? How do I find out what the original file should be?
