color specific bars in calendar view

Is there a way to color the bars of specific tasks in the Calendar view based
on a user defined column? I have certain dates during which we implement code
freezes, and I want to highlight these dates on the calendar to make them
stand out from everything else, but I can't figure out how to do it other
than making them milestones. (Which I don't want to do. My release dates are
my milestones.) I tried adding a custom column called "Code Freeze" and
entering a "Y" on the tasks that correspond to the code freezes, but I don't
see a way to indicate that I want to highlight the tasks that meet that
criteria. Printing the calendars and manually highlighting them with a marker
isn't really an option as I need to be able to convert my calendar to PDF and
send it to my team electronically. Does anyone have any suggestions?

M. Schmidt,
Try using the Marked field. You can rename it to "Code Freeze" if you
want.

Hope this helps.
