Color tabs in Mac not present

Hello -
I have colorized tabs in my Excel Workbook on the Windows side that
get
washed out when the same sheet is shown in Excel for Mac. Is there
some setting
I need to change or is this a known flaw within the environment that
needs to be
fixed?

It's not a flaw, but colored tabs have never been implemented in MacXL
(they were first introduced in WinXL02, IIRC).

You can request MacBU include colored tabs for MacXL08 using Help/Send
Feedback...
