colored fonts in tables imported from excel pasted special as pict

Hi,

I would like to know if it is possible to have the imported tables from
excel pasted as picture without being transformed to black and white tables.

I always thoutgh it wasn't possible but this mornig something happened and
it alowed to have colored fonts. But then after closing and opening all the
documents it was the usual B&W.

I know that if i choose paste special as bitmap the problem goes solved, but
bitmap has a bad definition.

PS: I'm using office 2000

thanks

Hi Joao,

in Excel, hold the Shift key and choose Edit from the menu. "Copy" will
have changed to "Copy picture". In PowerPoint, use Edit - Paste special.

Kind regards,
Ute

Joao,
Ute's suggestion is a good one. Another way you can do it is to install the
drivers for a color printer. Before you do the copy/paste of the chart
picture, change the default printer to the color one. You don't actually
need to have a color printer available, you just have to have the drivers
there and selected.

Kathy,
Thank you very much,
That worked also. Actualy I have a colored printer here in the office but it
was not the default one. Know I've changed permenentely the color printer to
the default.
