Colored Links in new slides

When I click on a link in a presentation, the link turns a different color,
for presentations that I make with Powerpoint. But for presentations that I
have made with OpenOffice (but display in powerpoint), I can't get those
links to be a different color. Is there a setting somewhere that I can check
that can help me out here?

I realize that this is a powerpoint newsgroup, which is why I posted it here.
OpenOffice can't get links to turn a different color. I'm wondering if
Powerpoint can.

The links that you have clicked in PowerPoint will change color to a
different color. You can edit the colors in Slide Design > Color Schemes >
Edit Color Schemes.

Which version of PPT ?
In PPT 2007, In the Creation Ribbon, Themes group, click on Colors then on
New colors. You can change the colors of links here : color for link before
clicking and color for link after clicking

Thanks a lot, Shawn. That did it. Because that (lack of feature) was so
annoying, I was going to have to copy/paste a lot of slideshows into new ppt
files. You have no idea how much time you saved me. Thanks again.

In case another newbie comes along some time, let me clarify what I did
after clicking on the "Edit Color Scheme" link.
After selecting the “Edit Color Schemes†link at the bottom, you will see a
new window pop up. Select the Custom tab, and then towards the bottom of the
list will be an option for “Accent and followed hyperlink.†After checking
that, I found that the default color was too light (i.e., too close to the
original color) so I changed it by hitting Change Color, which gave me a ton
of choices.
