colors disappear

I have color rules to receive messages from some specific persons. Time to
time those rules diappear and I have to create them again. My rules were
created using (Outlook2003): Tools/Organize/Using colors

I've had the same problem for months. The color rules disappear from one
folder but not from others. Sometimes they disappear when I move a number of
messages from one folder to another. Only Microsoft's default rules remain
when this happens.
