colour code milestones in calendar view?

B

Benjiluck

have a long list of milestones that filtering into a calendar but need to
split up those milestones by use of colour coding. currently i am only able
to change the colour of the whole group of milestones and don't know how to
differentiate some of them so that i can coloour then differently. Abel to
change colours in gantt chart so assume there is a way to carry this out in
calendar view.

thank you for your time.

Benjiluck:

You might want to use a custom field (flag/text) to establish the difference
in the milestones or you can use a tag. It sounds like a custom field to
define the differences would be best route and then you can color code that.

Yep already established the differences using Flags, which allows me to
colour bar and milestones in the Gantt chart but still can't achieve this in
Calendar view. Any colour change I make to milestones in calendar results in
all changing. I have little understanding about using the "marked" and
"highlighted" definitions and anything I've alreaedy tried ends up in a
horrible mess!
Any ideas how i seperate out my milestones in the calendar view based on the
fact that i have differences between my milestones due to resource
allocations?

Any help would be really appreciated.

So sorry, I missed the fact that it was the calendar view :(

The calendar view has far fewer features than the Gantt Chart view, and the
ability to do what you want does not exist - sorry :(

Some say you can do anything with vba, so try posting on the developer
newsgroup. Please see FAQ Item: 24. Project Newsgroups. FAQs, companion
products and other useful Project information can be seen at this web
