Colour enquiry!

Hi!

I would like to know if it possible to have one cell
effect a range of others in text and colour, I have a home
cell such as SG_bin with a green fill colour, I have the
same cell in various other parts of my spreadsheet which I
would like to control using this one cell. Thus if I
change the colour to red say or change the content of the
cell it would automatically update the other cells in my
spreadsheet to correspond with the home cell.

Is this possible?

Oh and I have Excel XP

If you set up your HomeCell (A1) with Conditional Formatting to be certain
colors with certain values, then you can put =A1 in another cell (F1) and
"paint brush" that Conditional Formatting from A1 over to F1 and F1 will
then follow A1 as to value and color........
