Coloured bar attached to resource type

hi, am trying to get a different coloured bar for each resorce,without much
success I might add,does anyone out there have any ideas .Many thanks in
advance

Hello Jake,

See FAQ 31 "Customizing Task Bars" at:

Although the title of the FAQ says Project 2000, it still applies.
If you have more than one resource assigned, you'll want to use a
slightly different formula. If you wanted to color tasks assigned
to the resource named "Fred", but Fred was not the only resource
assigned, the formula would be:

IIf(Instr([Resource Names],"Fred")>0,Yes,No)

So if both Fred, who's colour is green, and Sue, who's colour is red, are
both assigned to the same task, what colour should the bar be ... yellow
(additive green + red) or striped?
