Colours in MsgBox?

Hi all

Is there a way to make the colour of a MsgBox something other than the
default grey? And if so, what is the syntax? TIA

Thanks for prompt answer. You'd think they could easily have written in the
ability to process a colour argument, something like MsgBox(blue,"hello")

There's a squillion things they *could* have done -- let you specify the
button captions, or provide your own icons, etc. ONe of the arts of
programming is knowing when to stop.

And specifically in respect of colours, message boxes follow the user's
desktop settings, which is not a bad standard.

Hi rMan

I see you're using the discussions pages at microsoft.com to access these
newsgroups. A far better way is to use a newsreader such as Outlook Express,
which is a free part of Windows. See the following for info on how to access
these Microsoft newsgroups from a newsreader:

http://www.word.mvps.org/FindHelp/WhichNewgrp.htm (section "Newsreader
access to newsgroups")

Hope this helps.
