Column and Row formula

Bryan Hughes

Hello,

I have a column that I am taking on row in a column and * by 20% form the #
found in the same row in a different column.

I can do this for each row individually G3 = F3 * 20%.

How can I create a function that will automatically take the Number in the
same row, from Column F for the correct sum in ColumnG.

With out having to go to each row in column G and put the formula in with
corresponding row?

-Thank you for your help

Bryan,

If I understand correctly, by using relative referencing as you do, if you
copy G3 and paste in G4, G5, etc, it will do what you want.

IF I understand properly just enter in g3 =f2*.2 and drag the formula down
the column by grabbing the fill handle at the lower right of the g3 cell.
