Column Definition Width & Text wrapping

I have MS Project 2003 file which needs to be printed on a large banner style
for the wall projection. Therefore, text and columns have to be adjusted to
the bigger font size. The challenge I am facing is to stuck with the column
definition width that is 128. I can not increase that, is it the maximum
limitation of the column size?
Overflow text is not wrapping up either in the row. Even though I already
adjusted the row height to 3 but still no text wrap happend. Any suggestion
or tips would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Hi Syed ,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

As I understand it, Project's columns are all restricted to the 255
character limit. With text wrapping, text will also truncate at the first
carriage return. There's no way to change that. You'll have to live with
it or use less text in a column. You could use additional Text columns to
expand on the previous column.

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at
this web address: http://project.mvps.org/faqs.htm

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)

Hi Mike
Thanks and I appreciate your reply. Sounds like Project never been designed
for the large text and banner printing. However, I couldn't increase the
width to even 255 and the maximum I it can go to 128, do you know what could
be a reason?

thanks

Syed
