I AM USING OS 10.5.2 AND EXCEL 12. WHEN I TRY TO DEFINE A FORMAT for a column I select the column at the top (alphabet id) (i.e. DATE, Currency, etc.) and the format applies to cells that have entries, but does not carry thru to cells that don't have entries. With my previous version of EXCEL I could define for the complete column and it held for all cells.
