Column formatting lost

I want to use Onenote to capture meeting minutes then send out copies as Word
or Outlook messages. Unfortunately, columns that I create in Onenote get
colapsed and unreadible when I click "Send to Mail Recipient" or "Send to
Microsoft Word". Is there a way to easily export Onenote content to Word or
Outlook and still retain the formatting and text positioning? This is a show
stopper for me, given that not everyone has Onenote installed, thereby making
Word the least common denominator for Minutes distribution.

Any help would be much appreciated!
