Column grid

I loaded some add-ins to my excel and afterward the column
grid went from letters(A,B,C, ETC.) to numbers. How do I
get the column grid back to letters?

Tools|Options|General Tab
Uncheck the R1C1 reference style checkbox.

I should have added that this setting is picked up from the first workbook you
open in that excel session.

And your coworkers could toggle this setting any way they like--just like you
can.

If you save it as A1 style, and your coworker saves it in R1C1 style and you're
unlucky enough to open this file first, you'll see it again.

My point (and I do have a point this time!) is that you want to remember how to
toggle this back to the way you like it.
