Column headings in Excel 2008

In previous versions of Excel I was able to format the column headings
so they be formed into 2 identical rows. This was done so when I
scrolled down through the entire document a row of headings would
always remain in place.

How can this be done in Excel 2008?

Thanks.............Armil

Hello Armil -

There's no reason to have more than one set of captions - and numerous
reason why you shouldn't:)

Select a cell in the row beneath the captions then go to Window> Freeze
Panes. Use Word Help for more on the feature (as well as Split).
