Column label switcheroo...

Jim Hines

I'm working with the Office X version of Excel. The project is a 13
month long relatively complex athletic log. I'm on Month 10 and
suddenly the columns are numerically labeled rather than the typical
alphanumeric labling. The problem with this is that my cell
references have become gibberish. I don't have a clue as to how this
happened, nor can I find how to return the column labels back to
letters. I'm hopeful (probably foolishly) that the cell references
will revert to the original form. Any ideas will be gratefully
appreciated.
Thanks,
Jim Hines

In the "Preferences", "General" tab, you'll find the checkbox that toggles
the A1 vs R1C1 displaying of cell references. Uncheck it and things should
return to normal. Do they?
