Column limits in Excel for Merging

D

Del Jackman

Is there a limit in the Excel column position that can be used for a query decision? I have a totals column on a very wide spreadsheet in column DO. The results are incorrect. I have tried different queries and the results are inconsistent but always incorrect.
I cut it and pasted the column to the column H position and it worked fine. Given the complexity and use of the sheet for several purposes, I would rather not have to reorganize everything
Any advice will be appreciated. Thank you

Hi Jake,

I don't know whether there is a limit in the Excel column
position that can be used for a query decision, but have
you tried giving column DO a named range and calling that
in the mailmerge instead of the column? That might
overcome your problem.

Cheers
