Column moving in table in Access

Can you move columns (like in Excel) in Access? I want to
change the order of some data that I imported into Access.
If I had set up originally it would be in the correct
order. It's rather a large database so didn't want to
retype the data.

Thanks....

Sure.
There are lots of ways to handle this.
1. The best is to write a query and arrange the columns however you like.
(A table is an unordered bucket of data.)

2. Open the table to view the data.
Click the column header to turn it black.
Then click on it and drag to the right or left and let go.
(this only affects the view and not the design.)

3. Open the table in design view.
Click the small gray square to the left of the field you want to move.
Then click on it again and drag up or down.
(This affects both design and the data view.)
