Column of Names upper case: I wanted upper lower

My intern made a columns of first names in upper case. I wanted upper lower? Anything I can do? thanks

Use the PROPER worksheet function in an adjacent helper column.

Hi Kevs -

What Mike suggested is this: Let's assume that the names start in cell A5;

In another column enter the function: =PROPER(A5)

Copy the formula down as far as necessary

Select & Copy the cells containing the formulas (now displaying the names in
proper case)

Go to cell A5 & use Edit> Paste Special - Values to replace the upper case
names with the proper case version.

Then to clear out any remnants of forumulas in that column I used that might haunt me later, I just select that columns and do Edit, clear , All? thanks
