Column Size

I created a table in a note today and then wanted to adjust the column
sizes, but couldn't figure out how. Consulting help, I found this tip:

To make a column narrower or wider, place the
insertion point in the column, and on the Format
menu, click Column Size, and then drag the edge of
the column.

So, I tried that, but there was no "Column Size" menu item in the Format
menu.

I checked out the Customize dialog box, and found "Column Size" under
available Format items, so I dragged it to the Format menu.

Is there a reason it was missing from the menu? If so, it might be a good
idea to change the tip text.

There isn't any column size setting in OneNopte because there aren't really
any columns. You can sort of simulate columns by using tabs to create
faux columns, but that's not really columns. All you can do to adjust
the size of them is to add spaces/tabs in front or behind them and try
to play around with it.
Frankly I think you might have more success if you create your table in
Word, then copy/paste it into OneNote.
