You're probably right. In my Danish version of Windows 2000 it is named
"International" and since this word is used in English as well, I simply
assumed it was used in the US version also. That assumption was obviously
not correct. The translation used isn't always obvious, so to translate it
back into English and be sure to hit the right phrases isn't easy. But
thanks for pointing it out...
I sure agree with you that translation is not easy. At least you are
exposed to different languages in Europe. I have been using English (not my
native tongue)for 30 years and still got it wrong. I used to think in my
native language (Vietnamese) and then translate the sentences to English and
invariably the sentences looked and sounded weird. I took me years to
actually think in English so that the sentences come out a bit better.
