I have a large Excel I use for tracking hours and costs by month
across multiple accounts. I have used the same format for a number of
years so the file I have for 08 is the same as 07's, 06's, etc.
I have suddenly had a problem occur that is giving me massive
headaches. I had saved the file one afternoon and closed it. The
next morning I open it only to find that the column widths have grown
to massive proportions. Columns that once were 10.14 are now 30.71.
This occurs across all 27 worksheets in this document. It's critical
that I get this fixed as soon as possible because I need to generate
some reports from this data and in its current format is not
practical.
Each worksheet is 42 columns across and the widths are not standard
from one to the next. I am using Excel 2008 on my MacBook Pro running
10.5.2
Any assistance on the quickest fix to this problem is greatly
appreciated.
