Com Addin for different versions of Word

I would like to make a Comm Addin that can be used in Word 2000/XP/2003. I
made the addin using VB6. The compiled addin appears when I start up Word
2000. However it does not seem to be available as a Com Addin to Word 2002
and 2003.

I had assumed that I developed the addin using a computer with Word 2000 and
VB 6, then the addin will also work in later versions of Word.

Is there anything special that I need to do in VB to ensure that the Com
Addin is also available to versions of Word after 2000?

This should work fine. I'm currently doing the same thing and it works fine. Please provide more details

Have you registered the add-in on the systems with Word 2002 and Word 2003?
