I've read a few articles and posts and am under the impression that COM
addins should appear in the Outlook menu settings if they are registered
under HKCU rather than HKLM. I've tried creating a project with the VB.Net
wizard for only the current user, and the registry key is created under HKCU
but Outlook never lists it under the COM addins. There are some other COM
addins that are installed and are listed properly in the Outlook menu. The
code I'm trying is from http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=302896
The code works fine, btw. This is Outlook 2002 SP2 running on XP Pro if it
matters.
any ideas appreciated.
