I have the following Multiple server EPM Deployment:
Server 1: WSS + SP1, ProjectServer + SP1, Analysis Server DSO Components
with Analysis Server SP3, Windows 2003 Server with SP1
Server 2: SQL Server 2000 with SP3, Analysis Services + SP3, Windows 2003
Server with SP1
We installed Analysis Server on Server 1, after the installation of
ProjectServer. Also Analysis Server DSO Components were installed after the
ProjectServer setup. What I understand from the Installation manual is that
I'll have to run PSComplus.exe to setup the OLAP Admin credentials
(Domain\User with password), this particular user belongs to OLAP
Administrators group in Server 2.
When I try to provide these credentials, i get the following error message:
"A general COM Administration error has occured. Check the provided usernames
and password."
I have already given full control to this user on C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Analysis Services\Bin directory.
If any of you have a solution to this, kindly share the same with me.
