COM System Files

J

Jhoy

I have been using an ACS product that will merge data into Word and it has
been working fine, but after a recent auto-update I have been getting this
error message:

** COM SYSTEM FILES TEST **

All COM System Files must exist and have matching date/time stamps and build
numbers. Actual dates and build numbers may be different on different
machines. What is important is that these values match for all COM System
Files on a single machine (The Build Number = the last 4 digits of the
Version Number).

Verify COM System Files...

Asycfilt.dll: 5.1.2600 (08/04/2004 8:00:00 AM)

Oleaut32.dll: 5.1.2600 (08/04/2004 8:00:00 AM)

Olepro32.dll: 5.1.2600 (08/04/2004 8:00:00 AM)

Stdole2.tlb: 3.50.5014 (08/04/2004 8:00:00 AM)

FAIL: One or more of the required COM System Files is missing or has a
mismatched date/time stamp or build number.

Any suggestions on why I am getting this error and how to fix it?

I don't think this is a Word message. Check with the developer of your ACS
product. I believe it is telling you that you have different builds for
different parts of that application and it doesn't like it.
