Combi keystroke problems

Hi all

I have a combi box on a standard form. The combi selects records for the
form and its data is from SQL code using the same tables as the form.
Sometimes the combi will not accept the keyboard letters to select the
record. This is particulaly when there are blank entries at the top of the
combi selecter. Any ideas?
