Combination graph

I have a mixed graph between columns and lines. When I
highlight one series to change it from a line to a bar,
it displays over top of the column that already is there
and I can only see one column, not two. How can I
display to 2 columns with the lines?

1. Click on one of the columns that is in the series on top of the others.
2. Choose Format>Selected Data Series
3. On the Axis tab, select Primary
4. Click OK
