Combine Access Databases for SharePoint

I have several Access 2003 databases that I created with a seperate front
end (forms/queries/reports/etc.) and a seperate backend (tables/data). The
frontend resides on the users computer and the backend is on a network
share. I want to convert these to Access 2007 and then publish them on
SharePoint 2007. I would assume that I would first need to combine these
frontend/backends together and then once it is only a single Access
database, convert it to Access 2007 and then Publish to SharePoint. How
would I combine these frontend/backends together again in Access 2007?
Would this be the best route to go? Thanks in advance for any and all help
provided. :)
