Hi;
Have a Main Form w/2 sfrms. Main Form stores the information about the
salesperson and the Family name and address of the purchaser, (Smith, Jones,
Gates) and a cmdrptInvoice.
1 sfrm is for Men's Clothing, (tblMens), the other for Women's, (tblWomens).
Both sfrms have a field that records the full name of the purchaser. (John
Smith, Jane Smith, Bill Smith) and fields that store what they purchased.
John Smith, Shoes, Size.
John Smith, Hat, Size.
Bill Smith, Gloves, Size.
Jane Smith, Blouse, Size.
Jane Smith, Jacket, Size.
Jill Smith, Coat, Size.
The cmdrptInvoice button opens a frm that has a cmdAllPurchases and a cbx
that displays the full name of the purchasers. The User can then select a
name from the cbx and a rptInvoice for that purchaser is displayed.
The obstacle is that currently we use a sepeate tblFullNames, (VBA Code
Copys the full name from each sfrm into tblPurchaserNames.), and that tbl
bloats quickly.
Tried creating a qry using both tblMens and tblWomens and joining the names
but can only get:
John Smith Jane Smith.
Jane Smith Jill Smith
PurchaserName: [MensName] &" "&[WomensName]
Ideally the qry would show:
John Smith
Bill Smith
Jane Smith
Jill Smith
in the ComboBox.
Would someone be so kind an point me in the right direction to overcome this
obstacle?
Thank You for taking the time to read this post.
